“We hired KC Custom Builders to complete a basement remodel in our home in SF. First of all, I have to say that we are extremely pleased with Joe and the work he did for us. If I could give 10 stars I would. I screened many, many contractors before I decided to go with Joe and let me tell you – there are a lot of folks out there who claim they know a lot, but they don’t. His bid was fair. Joe was ALWAYS on time – early even. Did what he said and said what he was gonna do. He was so reliable – something that in my experience is not always the case with contractors. We gave him the key to our home and trusted him to make decisions that were in our best interest. He is an old timer and takes pride in his work – evidenced by the fact that he would sometimes even show up on Sundays!! He was meticulous in his work. He also seemed to know his way around the SF permitting department which made it easy on us as homeowners so we didn’t have to deal with that – and we never had any issue passing all the various required inspections — he does excellent work!
